After this lesson I have learned that there is word to express the experience that most of the International students are getting.
According to me, Cultural Shock is a set of feelings I´m having since my arrival in Denmark. For example, when I go to the market and I don´t undersand what I´m buying or having a lot of free time, missing my friends and and I think a lot in my family...
In the class we have been talking about Culture Shock as a term that is used when somebody gets into a new environment. When this happens, the subjects will have to adapt to his/her new surroundings, and experience a culture shock.
There are many ways to experience this culture shock. Personaly, I don´t think I´ve felt this negative effect yet. But I do miss my family and friends sometimes, and keep in contact with them on a regular basis.
Since I came to Denmark, I´ve been accomodating the danish culture. I found out that I have to be open minded and easy learning to be able to reconstruct the existing scheme.
WHAT TOOLS CAN WE USE TO BECOME OPEN MINDED?
In order to be open minded, before to go to the new country can be interesting read about the new culture we are going to meet and try to find similarities between our own culture and the new one.
Also, learn the language of the country we are staying is importante to interact with the new culture.
Feeling brave and thinking that you are alone in a new country was, in my case, the way to be open minded and solve some unexpected situations I found. If you feel that you are alone, you can become more selfconfident and try to imagine different solutions to your problems. Also, having to manage by yourself will help accomodating the new culture by, for example having to ask the local people for directions.
WHAT KIND OF QUESTIONS CAN YOU ASK IN ORDER TO REACH UNDERSTANDING OF A KNOW-UNKNOW SITUATION?

-How old are the students?

-Is it a temporary classroom?
